Aspect Ratio
Most consumers should go with a digital photo frame that displays images in 4:3 since most cameras take photos using this aspect ratio.  Consumers who want to display panoramic photos on the other hand should opt for one that displays in 16:9.  It should be noted, however, that attempting to display photos that have an aspect ratio of 4:3 on a 16:9 display will result in them being cropped or stretched.

Digital photo frames are typically controlled by an on screen user interface, however less expensive models may use simple buttons on the back or side of the frame.  Others, including a digital frame with wireless capability, may be controlled via remote.
